Introducing RangeForcer: Eduard Tarassov, Full Stack Developer

We sat down with Eduard Tarassov, a Full Stack Developer at RangeForce. Here’s what he had to say: 

What motivated you most about joining RangeForce?

During my previous position working in the bank, I could see how the topic of cybersecurity and protection of intellectual property and customers’ data becomes incredibly important. 

I joined RangeForce because the vision of the company to educate new minds in the cybersecurity field is motivating and exciting to me.

What are your main goals now that you’re part of the RangeForce team?

I wish to learn as much as possible about the processes and technology and to build new connections with awesome people. Of course, the main goal is to contribute to making RangeForce products better and our customers’ lives easier.

What will you focus on most in the next few months (up to a year) as you help expand the RangeForce platform? 

At the moment, I am involved in a project which will improve the loading speeds of the modules for customers. As a full stack developer, I typically learn and get involved in all aspects of technology (front end, back end, DB management, deployments).

What is the best part about working at RangeForce?

People. Since I joined RangeForce I see that the whole company is like a family here. Everyone is always ready to help each other and cheer each other on. As it is in every family, there is always some mild and friendly trolling between members too. :)

When you’re not developing a platform, what do you usually do in your spare time?

At work, I usually try to read about new technologies which we use in RangeForce. It helps me to understand more aspects of the projects which I am not involved in yet. Outside work, I am a big fan of sports and go kitesurfing every time there is a good wind on the beach and I really like the weather in Estonia (I think I am the only one here saying that). Otherwise, every evening I do calisthenics and some bodyweight exercises.
